Embrace Her Projects

  • Gift Bags to Young Girls

We were grateful to partner again with Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity to deliver gift bags to underprivileged girls. Central Berkshire Habitat is an organization that collaborates closely with families to help them build and purchase affordable homes. Homeowners work alongside volunteers to construct their homes, forming meaningful connections and a sense of pride that can transform lives. Thanks to their network, we can deliver these gift bags to girls in the area who are less fortunate.

Hitting The Wall Podcast was a key part of this initiative by packing and donating the gift bags. Their focus on sharing stories of resilience and overcoming challenges aligns perfectly with our goal of empowering young girls to believe in themselves and their futures. We hope this partnership continues to inspire these girls to keep pushing forward, knowing they have a supportive community behind them.

  • Hitting The Wall Podcast Partnership

We’re excited to partner with Hitting The Wall Podcast, a nonprofit committed to fostering positive change in the endurance sports community for teenage girls. This September, we’re providing gifts such as lip balms, toys, snacks, and energy drinks to support underprivileged teen girls. Through these gifts, we aim to offer access to essential products and inspire the girls to pursue their dreams, whether in education or sports.

  • Women's Project Donation Drive

In August, we organized another donation drive to support the children at Mai Am Tam Duc in Vietnam as they prepare for a new school year. We provided sanitary products, clothes, milk, hair clips as gifts, and motivational cards to inspire the girls in their educational journey. Through these efforts, we hope to bring love and support to these girls, who face challenges and lack parental care. We believe in their potential and that they deserve every opportunity to succeed.

  • Partnership with Rael Korea

Embrace Her's Korean Chapter President, Claire Kim, distributed Rael's products to young girls at Hye-Sim Won Orphanage.

Hye-Sim Won Orphanage supports underprivileged children in Korea. Many girls young girls in the shelter lack access to sanitary and feminine hygiene products. Through this partnership, we aim to provide these essentials to the girls and give them the resources they need to thrive.

  • Spreading Care Project

Our team collaborated with four other youth-led nonprofit organizations to raise awareness of free resources for women. We designed brochures and distribute them in various public areas. This project is estimated to impact around 3,000-4,000 women. In addition to in-person distribution, we also shared these resources online. We have created different versions of the resources for various countries. Through this project, we aim to reach a wider audience and make a significant difference in access to educational and healthcare resources.

  • Project Blossom

Project Blossom aims to nurture the growth and well-being of 40 young girls at Mai Am Tam Duc. Embrace Her supports this mission by donating milk and food to the shelter. Additionally, we give away small gifts to uplift the children’s educational spirits and support their emotional well-being.

  • Yen Phung's Heart

In June 2024, the Embrace Her Team raised 20 million Vietnam Dong, approximately $800, to support underprivileged girls undergoing heart surgeries at Kon Tum Hospital in the northern part of Vietnam. One of the girls we helped was Yen Phung. Despite the uncertainty of the surgery's outcome, she was determined to regain her heart's health. In her letter to our team, she wrote:

English translation: I want to thank Khue Anh (Angela) and everyone for supporting my friends and me through this journey. I will do my best to follow the treatment so I can return to my family. I will also work hard on my studies to not let you guys down.

    Hanoi, June 25, 2024

I love you all so much.

  • The Dreams Project

We collected clothes from Berkshire School students and donated them to Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity to benefit underprivileged children and families. More than 300 students participated in the event, allowing us to gather a significant amount of clothing to donate to shelters. The Dreams Project was initiated by Embrace Her Founder (Angela Pham) and Embrace Her Korean Chapter Leader (Claire Kim). We hope these clothes will support young children, especially young girls, in their journey to achieve their dreams.

  • Sending E-Cards to St-Jude Children Research Hospital

The Embrace Her Team collaborated to send over 100 cards to patients at St. Jude Hospital, offering cheer and best wishes for their journey.
